There are a couple of ingredients not listed in the product description : Isoamyl cocoate an emollient derived from coconut oil and isoamyl alcohol, and isoamyl laurate, which is a combination of isoamyl alcohol and lauric acid. Lauric acid can be derived from plants (coconut, sugar beet) but can also be synthesised. These ingredients are seen as a natural alternative to silicones in cosmetic use, giving a silky feel.I wondered if their inclusion, was tlo facilitate the mode of delivery – through a press pump, as otherwise, viscous carriers would clog the nozzle. Certainly these named synthesised ingredients would be in minimal amounts as they occur in the ingredients after all the vegetable carrier oils, and just before the Vitamin E and the essential oils, which must be at very low levels in order to be suitable for facial applicationI have deducted one star for not giving a FULL product listing.I really like this product, as I prefer only to use botanical ingredients, with as little synthesised single compounds as possible. I love the subtle aroma, finding essential oils which are of course a synthesis of some hundreds of individual volatile components, have a richness rather than an artificial smell. Some really dislike patchouli, so might not get on with this, but those who love patchouli will appreciate how the citrus notes lift and brighten itThis absorbed quite well, the fine spray delivery prevents application of too much at a time
