Sustainability Statement

Being a sustainable brand is important to us and we do all that we can as a small independent business, and are improving day by day. 

Packaging: We use recyclable glass bottles and keep plastic to an absolute minimum. Our postal boxes and product package are FSC certified.

Formulas: We are registered with The Vegan Trademark across all of our products. This is the worldwide recognised symbol in vegan certification.

Manufacturing: We formulate 90% of our products in-house at Made By Cooper's lab in the UK, in small batch runs. Our manufacturing machinery is manual, meaning it doesn't require any energy at all.

Carbon footprint: We partner with Ecologi and work to offset our carbon footprint and restore nature through their reforestation projects. 

Ecologi facilitates the funding of carbon offset projects and tree planting around the world. Their mission is to reduce 50% of global CO2 emissions by 2040 and responsibly plant billions of trees every year. 

To do this, many brands, such as ourselves, help fund the many projects. We have planted over 1000 trees and helped fund 36 projects, including:

• Wind energy in India
• Solar power In India
• Forest plantation in Uruguay
• Turning waste into electricity in Thailand
• Using waste biomass to produce electricity in Chile
• Preserving Amazonian rainforest in Brazil
