Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the bath salts?
Add a generous handful (around 3-4 tablespoons) to warm running bath water and let them fully dissolve. Step in, breathe deep, and soak for at least 15-20 minutes — that's the sweet spot for letting the salts and the eucalyptus do their work. Best used in the evening as part of a wind-down ritual.
Why three different salts?
Each salt brings something different. Epsom salts are rich in magnesium — long-loved for soaking after exercise or a long day. Himalayan pink salt is mineral-rich with a soft, dissolving quality. Dead Sea salts are the most mineral-dense of the three, prized for centuries for their effect on the skin. Together, they're a fuller, more considered soak than any single salt would offer.
Will it dry out my skin?
Bath salts can be drying if used too frequently in very hot water. To get the benefit without the dryness: use warm rather than hot water, limit baths to 15-25 minutes, and moisturise afterwards with a body oil or moisturiser. Used 2-3 times a week, most people find no dryness at all.
Why eucalyptus specifically?
Eucalyptus is one of the most clarifying essential oils — its sharp, fresh scent is often described as opening, awakening, and cleansing. It's particularly loved during cold and flu season for the way the steam feels on the senses, and it's a classic post-workout soak for muscle relaxation.
Can I use the salts as a foot soak?
Absolutely — and it's a brilliant use. Add 2 tablespoons to a basin of warm water and soak for 10-15 minutes. Particularly good after a long day on your feet, after exercise, or when you want a smaller ritual than a full bath.
Can children use them?
Eucalyptus essential oil should not be used on children under 2 years old (it can cause breathing difficulties in very young children). For children over 2, use a smaller amount than the adult dose and ensure the bath is well-ventilated. If you have any concerns, speak with your healthcare provider first.
How many baths will one tub give me?
The 500g tub gives you approximately 8 full baths when using a generous handful per soak. Used as foot soaks, it stretches considerably further — easily double.
Is it suitable during pregnancy?
The essential oil in Eucalyptus Bath Salts is eucalyptus. During pregnancy, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before introducing any aromatherapy product, particularly in the first trimester.
What makes this different from other bath salts?
Most bath salts on the high street use coloured dyes, synthetic fragrance, and fillers that look pretty but add little benefit. Eucalyptus Bath Salts is three pure salts (Epsom, Himalayan and Dead Sea) and real eucalyptus essential oil — no synthetic scent, no dyes, no fillers. It's why the scent is genuinely clarifying rather than perfumed.
