Autumn Simmer Pot
As the air is getting cooler and Autumn is fast approaching, we are fully embracing cosy season. If you have Made By Coopers essential oil blend, why not try making a simmer pot?
Here’s our simple recipe for an Autumn Simmer Pot that will infuse your space with warmth and wellness, while incorporating one of your essential oils from Made by Coopers.
Autumn Spice Simmer Pot with Essential Oils
Ingredients:
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- 3-4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 2-3 star anise (optional, for extra warmth)
- 2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary (great for purifying the air)
- 4 cups of water
- 5-10 drops of Made by Coopers essential oil (choose one like Calm with lavender, Revive with lemongrass, Awaken with grapefruit or Sleepy Head with lavender and frankincense for a soothing effect)
Instructions:
- Prepare your simmer pot: Add the sliced orange, apple, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and rosemary to a small saucepan or pot.
- Add water: Pour in the water, making sure it covers the ingredients.
- Simmer: Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat.
- Add essential oil: Once the pot starts releasing its fragrance, add 5-10 drops of your chosen Made by Coopers essential oil. (Calm will bring relaxation, Revive and Awaken will help with clearing and freshness, and Sleepy Head will create a cosy, restful ambiance.)
- Let it infuse: Allow the pot to simmer on low heat for hours, adding more water as needed to keep it from drying out.
- Enjoy the aroma: Your home will fill with a comforting, seasonal scent that’s both calming and uplifting.
